Immersive audiovisual art brand Unfold announced the details of a collaboration between themselves and audio obscura and cultural district westergas for the ‘raves’ element of their upcoming launch show SORa coming to Amsterdam this January.
SORA is an awe-inspiring new kinetic light installation that will take over the iconic Gashouser for a residency of exhibitions and live show performances in early 2023. Heading the rave event on January 27th is Adriatique, the formidable Swiss duo who’ve had a longstanding relationship with Audio Obscura and who will work with NONOTAK to deliver an unforgettable one-time-only performance.
Together, the two will provide a protracted, hypnotic, and thrilling show where the light installation will be just as significant as the music made by the brilliant house and techno duo. Get ready to see cutting-edge music and art as you’ve never seen before.
With the help of the most cutting-edge artists working in the fields of new art, media, technology, and music, Unfold.art presents expansive experiences with the goal of making immersive art accessible to everyone. These spectacular creations will be presented in three different ways: as exhibitions, live performances, and raves as they travel to black box venues throughout the globe.
These various arrangements make the art approachable for a diverse and universal audience, ranging from young children to their grandparents, live music enthusiasts to art critics, and from yogis to clubbers.
