As the new year unfolds, Above & Beyond announces the exciting rebranding of their third frontline label—Anjunachill. Formerly known as Reflections, Anjunachill now stands proudly under the Anjuna umbrella, dedicated to housing the group’s ambient, downtempo, and chillout catalog. This rebrand celebrates not only Anjuna’s 25th anniversary but also the launch of a fresh visual identity for 2025, which includes the bespoke typeface ‘Decima Sans’ and a modern refresh of the iconic ‘Anjuna A.’
Anjunachill will continue to build on Anjuna’s long-standing ethos, known for its emotive and melodic music. With flagship imprints Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep already dominating the dance music world, Anjunachill offers a dedicated home for genres historically intertwined with the brand—ambient, downtempo, and chillout. The new label’s roots trace back to 2014 when Above & Beyond’s transformative sunset yoga set at Burning Man sparked the creation of their ‘Flow State’ album—a turning point for Anjuna’s venture into the chillout space.
Since its official launch in May 2022, as Reflections, the label has released over 250 recordings, accumulating over 150 million streams and gaining critical acclaim from platforms such as Pitchfork and BBC Radio 6 Music. Now, Anjunachill steps forward, inheriting the mantle to discover and nurture the best talents in ambient, downtempo, and neo-classical music, building on the success of the last few years.
For long-time fans, the rebrand comes as no surprise. Ambient and chillout elements have always played a key role in Above & Beyond’s work, from the tracks on their debut album, Tri-State, to fan-favorites from Andrew Bayer and Cubicolor. Anjunachill will continue to elevate this genre with releases from artists like Cephas Azariah, Mark Barrott, and newcomers Planet of Souls. The label’s first official release, “Shall We Begin,” a moving downtempo track by Above & Beyond, is available now and marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Anjunachill.
